Working with higher education institution in South Sudan : why resilience research is locally led - South Sudan refugees education resilience case report

Enviado por admin em
Abstract

This country report is based on a pilot approach to build on existing capacities in universities in fragile, conflict and violence-affected situations (FCS) in South Sudan, as part of the development of the Education Resilience Approaches (ERA) Program. An underlying principle of ERA is to support the local intellectual leadership and research capacity of countries facing different types of fragility, conflict or violence. This not only provides an "insider advantage" to data collection, but also sustains research findings, their dissemination and their on-going contribution to in-country education policy dialogue.
