The role of digital technologies in 21st century learning

Abstract

This article analyses and problematizes the role of digital technologies in student learning through a broad perspective that considers not only their role as support tools, but also the transformations they imply for learning and teaching and the new requirements they pose to education systems, such as ensuring new generations of students can integrate to purely digital or hybrid environments.
