Education and youth labour market outcomes: evidence from eight sub-Saharan African countries

Submitted by admin on
Abstract

To what extent does education increase youth chances to access employment, complete the labour market transition, and occupy decent jobs? By addressing these questions, this paper attempts to draw conclusions on how well education speaks to economic demand and labour market needs, and how it contributes to mitigating prevailing skills mismatches.
