The exponential acceleration of technological platforms has penetrated the world of education. This document proposes to map the sources of this metamorphosis. The role of the EdTech market has changed dramatically in the last decade. A new global race seeks to platform students to improve algorithms and expand the digital business of education. The document maps the effects of these transformations in education systems: digitization, curricular diversification, gamification and the datafication of learning experiences. Then we present the responses of the new digital educational policy in very dissimilar contexts. The first attempts to platform education from the State are analyzed. This opens up numerous questions that are systematized in an analytical framework to discuss future scenarios. The platformization of education can be an opportunity to ensure the right to education with new tools on a massive scale. The discussion of scenarios for changing the government of education systems is part of this new agenda to guarantee the 2030 SDG4.
