This report – Happy Schools: A Framework for Learner Well-being in the Asia-Pacific – explores the various factors that contribute to making schools happier place based on the perspectives of students, teachers, school principals, parents and other members of the school community across the region. The report recognizes the important relationship between learner happiness and the quality of education. It calls upon education systems to bring these two important elements together by looking beyond traditional domains of learning to embrace a diversity of talents and strengths among learners, advocating for a new type of education that both contributes to a happy schooling experience and enables learners to thrive and celebrate their achievements.
