An International perspective on trends in the quality of learning achievement (1965-2007)

Enviado por admin em
Abstract

Structurally, the report begins with a contextual review of educational assessment, highlighting in particular the growing number of countries that have taken part in international surveys. A description of these learning achievement surveys is followed by a detailed explanation of the methodology used to construct the database. It then makes international comparisons of the quality of learning achievement and attempts to identify long-term and short-term trends in quality. It concludes by summarizing findings based on the short-term trends.
