Abstract
The UK Strategic Forum for Research in Education (SFRE) documented a wide range of research-informed resources, initiatives and commitment in support of learning, but found that some core provision is fragmented and inaccessible. The potential of such resources, it is argued, should be unlocked to support contemporary policies for distributed, system-wide improvement. This report proposes a six part model for evaluating knowledge development and mobilisation in education, and makes 20 recommendations for the improvement of UK provision. The document is based on SFRE’s deliberations from 2008-10.
