The need for education reform in Armenia has been a topic of discussion for some time now. In 2021, UNICEF, with the support of a grant from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), in partnership with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Asian Development Bank, conducted a study to gather evidence that can be used to create and implement successful education development programs. This analysis aims to encourage discussions among policymakers and improve the effectiveness of future policies. It also aims to raise awareness among all involved parties about the critical issues that were discovered. The results of this study became available at a time when Armenia is reviewing the draft state program and action plan on education.
