Abstract
This case study aims to analyse gender parity in access to education at the lower-secondary level using geospatial data and the QGIS software. It includes the following: an overview of the Cambodian education system in the context of education equity; an overview of the demand and supply of education as a public good; an analysis of gender parity gaps at the district level, namely the third lowest administrative tiers of the education administration system, using geospatial data to visualise and interpret information; and the provision of policy recommendations to address gender gaps.
