The long-term impact of COVID-19 on educational systems in Africa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide stakeholders’ perspectives on the envisioned long-term impact of COVID-19 on the educational systems in seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa that are part of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). The study also aimed to identify evidence gaps and support countries need for crises preparedness with the aim of curtailing the anticipated long-term impacts of COVID-19 on education in Africa.
