This review delves into the impact of school leadership on student learning, especially in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), within developing countries. We explored the following key questions: Is school leadership associated with improved student learning? Which leadership practices promote student learning? How does leadership promote student learning? What factors/conditions enable or hinder school leadership’s impact on student learning?
