EdTech for India: leveraging technology to bridge learning gaps

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present a medium-term view on how EdTech can be leveraged to enhance teaching and learning practices in India. The paper focuses on democratizing use of technology for education both at homes and in schools and may be relevant for decision-makers, practitioners, and implementers. Throughout the paper, discussions are anchored around three key pillars, which are essential for the success of any EdTech intervention: Infrastructure & Connectivity, Content & Software, and Capacity.
