5-year progress review of SDG 4 – Education 2030 in Asia-Pacific

Abstract

This report will review progress towards SDG 4 in the Asia-Pacific region, with equity and inclusion in mind as a framework for analysis. It will identify the regional context and trends, challenges, but also opportunities for countries in the region with regard to achieving all ten targets by 2030. Overall, this report is composed of a policy analysis, a statistical analysis, as well as case studies of best practices in implementing the different SDG 4 targets in practice, while it is also considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
