Nigeria Reading and Access Research Activity: communications plan

Submitted by admin on
Abstract

A central purpose of Nigeria RARA is to generate meaningful data and information on the issues of early grade reading and access to schooling in northern Nigeria. The success of this activity hinges in part on how useful and relevant this information is to the key stakeholders, policy-, and decision-makers across northern Nigeria, and nationally. The strategic communications plan serves as a guide for RARA as it strives to optimize the utility of information products and ensure their receptiveness with their intended audience. This document should be viewed as a guide or aide for RARA to set forth expectations on how and to whom information is shared. The first step is to identify the variety of information products RARA produces and their prospective audiences. The second step is to outline the considerations in tailoring message, content, and format of these products to their audience. The third step is to recommend modalities for transmitting information.
